JHS Computer Class
Sano International School
Students are exposed to practical computing proficiencies. They have courseware with a complete system for learning specific skills in relation to desktop productivity like word processing, spreadsheets and presentations. Balancing their left and right brain, students get to answer their worksheet and perform the activities presented in their courseware.
7th and 8th graders explored how spreadsheet works in different computing applications. Using the courseware, they are learning how to encode data and format cells. The next lesson will be using formulas for computing school grades.
9th graders started learning about basic computer programming using free programming applications. Students learn that computer/technology is not just a tool or a toy, but it is another opportunity to know and glorify God and to serve their community and other individuals.
